For me, the voice is both instrument and mirror; a vessel for memory, emotion, and identity. From opera to new music premieres to choral and pop/theater projects, I am captivated by how the voice morphs across worlds while still carrying something deeply human. One of my favorite parts of this journey is bringing friends’ and colleagues’ music to life––and discovering new communities along the way.

 

As Caroline Polachek once said, “the voice is the most powerful synthesizer.” I believe it is also the most powerful connector.
